I have new recipes and some old beloveds have been slightly adjusted. This doesn't come out to a high volume of high fat foods, because it takes very little to achieve the amount of calories desired. Protein is moderate and carbs are even lower than before. The concept is somewhat mind blowing because we are conditioned to think that fat makes us fat.
The 10-day program is equally accessible for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters. We still follow most of the anti-candida guidelines so the benefits are reaped in that regard as well. I've found it to be most challenging to gather info and recipes for vegans and vegetarians, so I provide ample options; all with optimum health and longevity in mind, as opposed to quick weight loss at the cost of an overly toxic diet and health complications down the road. But the weight loss is impressive, so it's no wonder that this approach has become so popular.

You can do this in phases...
Start with the anti-candida, ketogenic-inspired recipes and eat as often as you'd like. Participants will be encouraged to try easy intermittent fasting by eating inside of an 8 or 12 hr window each day. For example, not eating after 8pm, nor before 8am the following day. You can shorten that window to 8 hrs to increase your weight loss results. There will much information and support provided.

Lots of veggies, cooked and raw, live nut milks, seeds and superfoods to literally flood your body with vital nutrients and living enzymes. It is helpful to own or borrow a blender and/or juicer. If you don't have one, you will need access to a Whole Foods or local juice bar that makes fresh juices and smoothies. I provide some excellent resources to help get clear on the science behind it, but the proof really comes in trying it and ALLOWING THE TIME for it to work. I accentuate the point because the first days can be rough and confusing. The end result by the 10 days is that the weight loss has gained momentum and people are asking if they might even lose TOO MUCH weight. That's NOT a problem that can't be remedied once your weight loss goal is achieved.

A: Pregnant and breastfeeding women are encouraged to take the “add-in” approach. The focus is not on detox but on nourishing the body by adding in the suggested nutrient-dense foods, smoothies and proper hydration. Excessive juicing is discouraged as it can trigger a rapid detox reaction. We encourage an eat-for-health-and-nourishment approach. Among the many benefits of the programs, participants have reported long, restful nights (for their babies, for the first time ever) when babies are no longer exposed to toxic, difficult to digest foods, and food allergens.
A: While some report a loss of energy on day one, two or three of the cleanse/detox, others report increasing energy from day one. Results vary as one may experience a stronger to virtually undetectable detox reaction. Both programs can be adjusted to resolve concerns about possible reduced energy during the program period.
